Peter is a former Dutch pro-youth player and semi-pro player. At a young age, he joined the youth academy of the Belgian Premier League club K.A.A. Gent (Belgian champions 2015/2016) where he played until his 19th. He has a Master’s in Psychology, but never stopped being involved with football. Peter is passionate about youth development, where he integrates best practices as the Coerver method, Cruyff vision and social psychology notions to motivate and challenge his players to reach their fullest potential.
Coach Peter’s aim is to help further develop the Cayman Islands youth potential.

What They Say About Us
Our sons (ages 9 and 11) development and progress has been phenomenal! We were lucky to work with Coach Peter while our boys were still young and have watched them evolve into skilled, disciplined and confident young footballers. The Total Soccer coaches have challenged our boys beyond their comfort zone and their progression has been amazing. In addition to developing their skills and football knowledge, just as importantly they are disciplined and respectful to coaches, teammates and opponents. They learn life skills for on and off the field. Our boys can’t wait for training each week and have pride in themselves and their team. As parents we are thrilled with Total Soccer and their coaches!
I met coach Peter after seeing one of his teams play. I absorbed so much by seeing the discipline and professional behavior displayed that I had to congratulate the coach. This was not something we see regularly here. Since then, Total Soccer has inspired me as a coach. The commitment and discipline of the payers from different ages and nationalities is admirable. The team I train also benefit from the friendly matches we organize from time to time. Total Soccer brings another level of professional youth coaching. The club teams (345 FC) in just over 1 year has become in my opinion the most exciting teams to watch for their superb ball skills and knowledge of the game in such a short period of time. I hope total soccer will get more support and recognition so we all can benefit from.
Coach Peter and his team’s professional, yet fun approach, to training not only develops my son’s football skills, but also his sportsmanship and character. They focus on the players growth both on and off the field. We are so grateful to be a part of the Total Soccer family.
Coach Peter and his team have a great approach to training soccer athletes. Coach Peter has a phenomenal ability to review a player’s strengths and weaknesses, to set expectations with a player and achievable goals. He is able to positively assess a player’s mental state, successfully encourage a positive winning attitude and inspire self motivation in the players he trains. I do not know one player who has trained with Peter who does not respect him. His coaching style has paid off for many families like ours in the area and he has been instrumental in helping numerous players make top level competitive teams. Most importantly, he truly cares about each of his players and they know he always has their best interests at heart.
